Another round of this annual event, held on the nearest weekend to the battle anniversary in mid-May

Numbers were a bit low this year, partly because same strange issues caused by the changeover of road closure responsibilities from the Police to the County Council meant it wasn't possible to do the usual march through Bude on the Saturday, nor form up and march through Stratton to the battlefield

Once again, Maurice's formed the Parliament shot (almost all of it).  On the Sunday there was a mild rebellion over lack of pay.  Amid cries of Point d'argent, point de Suisse ("No money, no Swiss"), the Parliamentarian commander was forced to commit (in writing) to buying all the 8 musketeers present a beer!

He has been noticeably absent from beer tents at major musters ever since!
