On the weekend of 14th/15th September, 2013, the Regiment set up camp in one of the gun positions of the Victorian fort at Whitsand Bay.  We had been invited by Hidden Heritage to put on a display as part of the Heritage Open Days 2013.

Whilst the space was a bit cramped, it was out of the wind, and allowed people to take pictures with no modern intrusions.  There was a steady flow of visitors throughout the weekend, most of whom seemed very interested in what we were doing.

We were mistaken for Druids by some blokes who visited our fire late on Saturday night, but we disabused them of the notion!

The weather turned very wet on Sunday afternoon, so we packed down a bit earlier than planned.
